A collective work
of Italian modernity.

Already underway in 2026, this research forms a major strand of the work planned for 2027. It studies the Italian Pavilion at the 1967 Montréal World’s Fair through the relationships between space, structure, construction, the arts and exhibition design.

Conducted with Alessandro Benetti, the project combines archival research, architectural analysis and critical redrawing. It aims to reconstruct the pavilion’s interrelationships and understand how multiple contributions form a collective work.

Forthcoming stay at the Politecnico di Milano

14–23 October 2026 · DAStU — Dipartimento di Architettura e Studi Urbani, Milan, Italy.

Visiting professor and researcher, with a mobility grant from MAECI, Italian Government. This stay forms part of research on modern heritage and informs the work on the Italian Pavilion at Expo 67.
