Fabio Sedia conceives, draws and makes the objects in this series. The work explores fold patterns, cutting, the transition from sheet to volume and colour variations. Preparatory studies and objects in plain or printed paper show the stages of this investigation.

Folding turns a sheet into a volume. This series of Christmas trees explores silhouette, repeated folds and colour. The photographs show several versions in plain or printed paper.

The studies “Prova 1” and “Prova 2” form part of this exploration: they show the drawing of the folds and the transformation of the sheet into a volume.
